It’s a quiet and peaceful place, yet the nearest town is just a few minutes’ drive away, and you can reach almost every popular spot in the Algarve within about an hour by car. Then there are the facilities — from the room and private terrace to the pool. Everything is beautiful and very well maintained. The breakfasts were truly amazing. Not only were the portions generous, but the quality was consistently excellent as well. And last but not least — the hosts. They were incredibly helpful, always there to answer our questions, recommend places to visit, and, in general, make sure our stay in the Algarve was as good as it could possibly be. The breakfast is just amazing and the pool is perfect to cool down. In the morning and in the evening, it’s cooler, which is really nice (even in August). The area is really nice, especially for runners and walkers, and having a car is really convenient because you are right in the middle of the Algarve. The beautiful rooms are nicely furnished with fine beds and a very comfortable mattress, as well as a large bathroom with a rain shower. Each room has its own private terrace. There is a lovely swimming pool in the beautifully landscaped garden with parking for the car. Every morning there was a delicious breakfast with plenty of toppings, always freshly squeezed orange juice, and an egg. We received a lot of information about the area and special restaurants. Saskia395 days agoWhat a gem in the Algarve! At B&B Quinta das Amendoeiras, we were completely spoiled by Cees and Ina – an incredibly warm and sweet Dutch couple. Every morning we started with a royal breakfast that was simply outstanding. Fresh fruit, eggs, rolls, juice, you name it. We have rarely had such a good and enjoyable breakfast. The B&B itself? Wonderfully clean, comfortable beds, and a cozy little kitchenette where you could quickly prepare something. And that terrace in front of your own apartment, perfect for having a drink with a local wine while enjoying the peace and quiet (and the occasional friendly visit from one of the two sweet little dogs – our new holiday friends!). Cees and Ina really do everything to make your stay as pleasant as possible: from tips to a friendly chat. And then there's that wonderful swimming pool... we actually didn't want to leave. Highly recommended. If we could, we would give it an 11.

We just spent two wonderful weeks there, in a stunning region. Everything about it is extraordinary. Located 500 meters south/southeast (towards the hamlet of Nora) of the N124 road (which runs from Silves to São Bartolomeu de Messines), this B&B is run by Cees and his wife Ina, a charming, very friendly, and discreet couple. Upon our arrival, they helped us unload our luggage, then kindly explained how the B&B worked, invited us for a drink, and gave us some valuable tips for exploring the region. This B&B is ideally located "in the middle of everything," which is very convenient for visiting the Algarve by car. Moreover, the place is incredibly peaceful. The garden is immense, superb, beautifully adorned with a variety of plants and trees, and the swimming pool is magnificent, surrounded by a few sun loungers. Our room was very close to the pool. There's no air conditioning, but this wasn't a problem for us, despite the 36-degree heat outside: the walls are well insulated, there's a ceiling fan, and it's possible to sleep with the front door wide open, protected by a mosquito net. It was always cool in our room. The bed is incredibly comfortable. Our bathroom was spacious, with a walk-in shower. A small refrigerator kept our drinks cold. The Wi-Fi worked very well in the room. We had a shaded terrace in front of our room, which was lovely for enjoying an aperitif. A pleasant breeze blows constantly. Everything is meticulously maintained, and the cleanliness is impeccable. Breakfast is served under a pergola, which was a real treat every morning. There's a very large parking lot very close to the rooms. We will definitely return to Quinta das Amendoeiras, as we couldn't find a better place to stay to continue exploring this beautiful region. In short, we had a truly wonderful stay and highly recommend it, whether for a single night, a week, or an extended holiday.+4

Our apartment was perfectly clean, very spacious (huge bathroom), great furniture and had everything you need - fridge, coffee machine, kettle, towels, beach towels, parasol and much more. The bed was also very comfortable. The breakfast was very tasty, healthy and varied: Freshly squeezed orange juice, rolls and bread, fruit and vegetables, jams, fresh eggs from their own chickens, a very good bica/espresso and coffee and sweet Portuguese specialities. There was really nothing missing! We are very happy that we found Cees and Ina (and Mork :-)) and their wonderful B&B and will definitely come back many times.
